Welcome to TechDiva Biz Talks, Brett.
Brett DuncanWell, thank you, Audrey. It's a pleasure to be here this morning. Thank you so much.
Speaker 3Thank you for coming. And before we get going, can you give us a personal fun fact, something that most of us probably wouldn't know about you, or those closest to you may not know?
Speaker 1Well, you know, it's a lot, it's funny because uh a lot of people that I know don't know that I have three kids that have been, you know, and uh more than that, that I'm a musician and I've done two albums and and I really enjoy uh music and I've never given up on music. It's just you know, uh making a living is taking over. Uh but the fun part of it was I've I play guitar and uh I just enjoy uh helping people uh in any way I can in that regard, musically. So that's that's my fun day is doing music.
Speaker 3That's awesome because I'm a musician too. I play a keyboard and I sing, and I you know, every now and then I'll write a song. So I'll have like probably a total of like three songs, so nothing near an album like you, but I think what happens is that we kind of our our first love is is never goes away. And it comes in every now and then. So I love that the fact that you do your music. Now that's probably where where you'll be the end your next career, like the end-to-end game.
Brett DuncanThere you go. I I'm looking forward to it.
Audrey "Tech Diva"Yep, absolutely. All right, so we're gonna take a quick break and we're gonna come back and we're gonna learn more about Brett Duncan. What You Are Really Paying For
Audrey "Tech Diva"All right, Brett, let's get started with some questions here. Um, so let's start with the question every business owner wants answered first. How much does a website like this actually cost, or what are they really paying for?
Brett DuncanWell, you know, I nothing for nothing. Nobody's gonna pay anything for uh anything they don't know about. People buy what they they have a passion for or like, if you will, you know, and a lot of businesses don't know enough about AI to really uh understand the value, if you will, you know, and so when I when it comes to cost, I don't usually there's all kinds of packages. I have a lot of variables. I mean, we could start down at the bottom where, you know, I mean, uh, but at the end of the day, um I don't usually divulge any pricing because you know without value, there's you know nothing there, you know. So uh I can just say that when it comes to uh the business saving money uh and being able to cut back on areas where they don't need to spend money, AI can save them a lot of money, and I I can explain that down the road here.
Audrey "Tech Diva"A
Conversions With A Humanlike AI Guide
Audrey "Tech Diva"lot of people get traffic to their website, but traffic alone does not pay the bills. What turns visits into actual sales?
Brett DuncanWell, that's a good question, and I need to more or less set that up, more or less. Uh you know, let's let's take a typical chat bot, if you will. You know, a chat bot is text usually only, and uh it's better than nothing. If you go to like uh Google Gemini, go to Google and text, how much does chatbots increase conversion on a website? They'll say 20 to 30 percent. Okay, that's what they're saying. Okay, now comparing that to what I bring to the table, which I haven't shown you yet, we're gonna blow that number away because as uh you said in the introduction, it's not a chat bot, it's actually a humanoid avatar that that is so close to being a human, you wouldn't know the difference once you start talking to her because she's so personable and she knows how to number one, find out what your problem is, and once she finds out your problem, she leads you down the path of what the owner of the website wants. For example, if you're a um mortgage company, what's your main objective for a visitor on your website? Well, you want to get a pre-qualified lead, okay? Somebody that qualifies for a loan. You don't want all these other people, you know, that don't qualify that are just lookers, if you will. So she actually uh knows, finds out from the get-go if you qualify, and if you do, she can pre-qualify you and get the the owner instead of filling out a form that gets a 70% abandonment rate, she can actually fit uh interview you and say, Well, let me get your name, and you know, so on and so forth. But we'll get more into that. When it comes to a typical website, a website only gets a three to four percent conversion rate. That's from good Google Gemini too. These are all facts that are uh statistics that I'm not making up. This is why the website just to give you a little background, I've been doing, I believe in word of mouth. I believe so hardly in word of mouth because it's that second opinion that's gonna get people motivated. And that's also something we bring to the table. She brings your best customers with her in case she needs them to validate who you are and how many people you've helped. So, all these, there's so many variables, honestly. But to answer your question, you know, if you're getting a hundred visits and you're only getting four percent right now, conversion, it's time to to come on the AI train, you know. Yeah.
Audrey "Tech Diva"Absolutely. Get my ticket. Where's my ticket?
Brett DuncanRight. Yeah, there you go.
Audrey "Tech Diva"Yeah, okay. So, yeah, so if you said that the back button can be the kiss of death, what usually causes people to leave a website so fast?
Brett DuncanWell, that's a good question. And and it's called bounce rate, okay. There's two factors uh in the beginning when people f go to your website. One is how long does it take to load? Now, you know, on a mobile phone, a mobile phone speed depends on your bandwidth. Okay. You know, five gig came along and that helped out a lot, let's face it. But the bottom line is if you're in a bad area or it doesn't load right away, or they don't see what they like or they're what they're looking for in the first six seconds, you've lost 50 to 62 percent of your visitors. That's also on Gemini. That's huge. And we and I can show you it. Do you can I share my screen with you real quick? I'm sure. This is Tess. This is our um, this is just like Alexa for Amazon, but she's our website host, liaison. And meanwhile, instead of coming to a website and waiting for uh the website to load, she comes up first and gives the users an option. Uh meet Tess, your personal AI smart guide, uh, get AI help with Tess or just browsing. And so what this does is this increases conversion and gets rid of uh and lowers the bounce rate at least 90%. And that's because people have people want customer service, people want to get their questions answered and basically get down to the bottom line what they came there for, and by having a personal assistant on your phone versus try to look at a phone, you know, how small a phone is. How does AI help the average website get more conversion?
MobileWise AI Product DemoAI helps websites boost conversions by turning passive visitors into active leads. It does this by engaging users in real-time conversations, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward a decision, like scheduling a call or downloading a resource. Unlike static forms or basic chatbots, AI can ask follow-up questions, overcome objections with video testimonials, and even qualify leads before they ever speak to a human. This means your sales team only talks to warm, interested prospects, dramatically increasing your chances of closing a deal.
Audrey "Tech Diva"That's fantastic. Thanks, Brett. Um, really appreciate this demo. This is you know, really you bring that visual piece of using the AI technology into um to our figured you'd need this to stick in there, you know, when I got to it. Testimonials
Testimonials Used At The Right Moment
Audrey "Tech Diva"are everywhere, but do they really help overcome buyer hesitation or are most businesses using them the wrong way?
Brett DuncanWell, testimonials, word of mouth has always been, you know, for the last 2,000 years as word of mouth, you're right? I mean, it's all about word of mouth. But you know, how do you how do you use word of mouth on a website? Yes, you can have testimonial uh button on your website, this kind of thing, but you're relying on the user, number one, to find that button, and number two, uh, you know, actually listen to it. What what our technology does is we bring testimonials to the forefront when needed. Let's say you go to a website and you're not 100% sold on the company and you just need to get pushed over the fence. What Tess does, uh, our web uh liaison, she actually says, Well, I appreciate your concern. Here, let's once you hear what one of our customers has had to say that had that same concern. So if they're interested, they can watch the video testimony. If they're not, they can say pass. But the bottom line is they're bringing their customers with them, their satisfied customers with them, so they can overcome any objections so they can go to the next level. What's the next level? Whatever the owner of the website wants, a lead, a phone call, or whatever it might be. Her job is to make them feel comfortable, and testimonials typically will make that happen. Awesome.

From Chat Bots To Real Conversations
Audrey "Tech Diva"I appreciate what you're the information you've been telling us today. I want to take you back a little bit. All right. So compare some website answering bots to a 1970s answering machine. This is hilarious and painful at the same time, but what do you mean by that?
Brett DuncanWell, uh, answer machine way back when, let's face it, in today's standards is archaic. Okay. Uh I have a good friend of mine that always has to talk to her her hospital or whatever, and she gets so frustrated with the with the person that's supposedly the customer service, but it's not. It's it's more or less a re sounds like a recording. It doesn't sound like a real person. With AI technology today, the knowledge is there not only to be personal, but know how to sell, but know how to get you where you want to go. And she does it on a on a human level, if you will, uh, instead of an old archaic phone machine. And that's the difference. It's it's it's the technology, because with our technology today, you can make her as smart and personable as you want. You know, and she learns as she goes. She knows anything that she doesn't pick up on, she'll say that in her knowledge base. So throughout the the years, instead of just being a tape machine on a phone, she is knows everything about your business, everything she knows the questions are gonna be asked, she knows how to uh answer those questions the whole nine yards. So it's the technology is just amazing for AI today.
Audrey "Tech Diva"Yes, absolutely.
Building With AI Without Errors
Audrey "Tech Diva"So, what challenges have you run into when using AI tools in a development process, especially when accuracy and performance matter?
Brett DuncanUh it's oh it's it's a lot of challenges, believe me. Um, I had um a uh review company 20 years ago. It was Rave Review, and I built the software that allowed businesses to allow their customers to refer them to other businesses. And I used offshore development. You know, India, Russia, all the offshore companies were over there. Anyway, uh bottom line is with AI, I was able to do probably I would say 10 times more and get it done 10 times faster with AI than using a real developer. And that's because AI is smarter. I could say, okay, here's the architecture I want. This is what I want her to do. After we put the architecture together, they can build it. But there are challenges. You've got to learn how to work with AI. You know, I mean, it's not, you know, if you you can't let anything slip through the cracks because they'll assume you mean this, but you really mean this. So you have to be very specific on what you're requesting. That's the key to AI. And not anybody, if if you know, if a business owner says, Oh, I have an idea, I'll just go to one of these, you know, like chat GBT or whatever and build something, it's not that easy. It really is. And you have to have a little bit of uh, you know, development, uh, savvy to know how to, you know, not only build it, but at how to ask the questions.
Audrey "Tech Diva"Yes, absolutely. Garbage in, garbage out, right? That's what we say when we first started uh programming and using computers years ago. Right.
Simple Next Steps And Free Reports
Audrey "Tech Diva"Yeah. So for the business owner listening right now who knows their website needs help but feels overwhelmed, what is the best advice you can give them today?
Brett DuncanWell, the best advice is to get know your options. And you know, if you're if you're not getting the conversion you want on your website, I would say learn more about AI, of what the limitations are and what the benefits are. I wrote that book as you you said earlier, the AI powered business. They can get a free copy of that book for just watching the show today. It's freeaibook.info. Freeaibook.info. So for your and also if they want to analyze their website, they can go to freemobilereport.com. That's freemobileport.com, and it'll give them a whole report and let them know where their website is uh not efficient enough and how AI can help.
Audrey "Tech Diva"Awesome, fantastic. And so some people think buying a domain name and hosting means the job is done. Why is that only the beginning? And and why might they still need someone like you?
Brett DuncanWell, you see, when people go in business, they don't really know how hard it really is. You know, if anybody that starts a business has a great idea or they, you know, advertising is so key for any business. Social media, you know, um YouTube, Google, all these things. There's so many. I used to say the the industry was fragmented. Now it's come around a little bit, it's because of AI, it's tightened it, it's tightened the bands on on what they need to do. It all depends on the type of business they have, is the medium they need to use that with AI. Let's put it this way. Where can AI help a business today? Well, one is the phone. If you you never want to let your phone go to voicemail, you've lost them. Done. There's just too many options out there. Okay, AI can answer your phone, set appointments, and so on and so forth. That's number one. You're relying on your website and you're optimizing it, or using uh ad words for pay-per-click, or you're on the, you know, or or for your phone and to get it to the top, and you're spending two, three, four, five, ten, twenty dollars a click, you definitely want AI on your website to up the conversion because you're gonna get much better conversion than the average website. Because at the end of the day, let's put it this way 20 years ago, people's attention span was at 60% better than it is today. It's dropped immensely, and that's because people are overwhelmed with communication, so their attention span is let's say 40 seconds. That's what you got. Not at the beginning, but uh, you know, if they don't get what they what they're looking for, it's attention decep uh attention deficit, basically, what we're dealing with, and that causes the conversion crisis we have today, and I it is a crisis, and AI can fix that for them. And if they read that book that I just mentioned, they will find out how it can.
Audrey "Tech Diva"Absolutely. So, after this announcement, we'll be right back and we're gonna have that Tech Diva Rapid Five segment that I mentioned. So get ready. Before we get into this rapid fire, where do you want to send people or listeners and watchers of this episode?
Brett DuncanWell, like I said uh earlier, I think uh going to uh freemobilereport.com will at least give them an analysis of what their website is doing right now and how uh AI can help them. That's number one. If they want to learn more about how AI can empower their business, they can get my free book, free uh aibook.info. Uh and then uh that you know that's what I bring to the table the easiest way, so they can just at their convenience go on their phone or a desktop and get that information they're looking for.

Rapid Five And Final Shift
Audrey "Tech Diva"right, Brett. It's time for the Tech Deeper Rapid Five.
Speaker 1Okay.
Audrey "Tech Diva"Five questions. Oh no, I know. Five quick questions, five quick answers, and no overthinking.
Brett DuncanYay, I'm ready.
Audrey "Tech Diva"What is the fastest way a business owner is losing money on their website even without realizing it?
Brett DuncanIt's not having AI, uh, the technology of AI to help them uh get more conversion.
Audrey "Tech Diva"What is one thing people swear they need on their website, but you would cut in a heartbeat? A form. AI assistant, chat bot, voice bot, what is actually useful and what is just dressed up tech drama?
Brett DuncanUh AI, AI, uh, uh let's say chat is dressed up drama because you you know it's a crapshoot if you're gonna get somebody uh there to help you.
Audrey "Tech Diva"What is one sales lesson? Old school pros understand, like us, you know, we old school pros, that today's AI world still needs badly.
Brett DuncanI would say phone assistance, you know, you don't need a receptionist anymore. You need AI to handle your phone and appointments.
Audrey "Tech Diva"Finish this sentence.
Brett DuncanIf your website is not converting, it is probably because it doesn't have AI to hold their hand and guide them down the path of higher conversion.
Audrey "Tech Diva"Higher conversion, righteousness. I don't know. Righteousness, there you go. Yeah, money. No, I'm sorry, it just it just rolled out. That was my own rapid fire.
Brett DuncanThere you go. Well, I thank you for uh the assist. I agree. Okay. Oh my god.
Audrey "Tech Diva"All right, Brett. If there's one you're you are you're a real trooper there, I really appreciate you. Um, you know, holding holding out through that that rapid fire. Right. One thing you want business owners to remember after this conversation, is there is is it this their website should not just sit there looking pretty, it should be working. So, what is the one shift they need to make right now to stop losing leads and start turning visitors into real customers?
Brett DuncanI would say go to Freemobileport.com to identify your problem. And then once you identify it, you can get more information on how AI can help you.
Audrey "Tech Diva"Absolutely. Identifying the problem first. Okay, Brett, this has been a powerful conversation. Thank you for breaking down AI automation and conversion strategies in a way that makes sense for real business owners. And to everyone listening, this is your reminder. The future is not waiting, and neither are your customers. Be sure to connect with Brett Duncan and learn more about mobile wise AI.
